Description
With the recent approval of the product ISOONET T, (No. 9066 – 13/04/2017), an effective plant protection solution for the cultivation of tomato and comes to give a solution to the urgent problem of the insect Tuta absoluta.
The product’s philosophy of action is based on the Mating Disruption Method, in which a high concentration of artificial pheromone is created in the environment and the latent pheromone odor attracts or prevents prosperous males from locating females. Due to this fact, the mating between female and male lepidoptera is not achieved, resulting in the gradual reduction of the reproductive capacity of the insect and consequently the level of damage to the crop.
Isonet® T consists of diffusers with controlled release of synthetic pheromones and in the greenhouses it is applied, it is placed on the support wires of the crop.
