Serenade Max: With nature as an ally
Welcome to the new generation of “Natural Origin” plant protection products from Bayer CropScience: Serenade Max is the new fungicide and bactericidal of natural origin based on the strain of Bacillus subtilis QST 713.
Serenade® Max is a broad-spectrum fungicide and bactericidal based on strain QST 713 of Bacillussubtilis, a bacillus that is very common in nature. Serenade®Max is an exclusive product of BayerCropScience.
Serenade® Max has 2 main levels of action when applied to a crop:
a) Fungicidal action against diseases such as botrytis, gray rot, fusicladium and sclerotia
b) Bactericidal action against sebacteria such as Erwinia sp., Pseudomonas sp., Xanthomonassp
At the same time, bioassays have shown that Bacillussubtilis activates the plant’s natural defense mechanisms and enhances its growth, which has a positive effect on increasing production.
The fungicidal and bactericidal activity of Serenade®MaxQST 713 is mainly due to substances produced, to a large extent, only by the specific strain of Bacillussubtilis. Such substances are the lipopeptides, which are mainly responsible for the fungicidal action of Serenade®Max, which act directly on the cell wall of pathogens and thus destroy it.
Due to the fact that Serenade®Max is a contact formulation and acts mainly by destroying the cell membrane of pathogens without affecting their metabolism, the risk of developing resistance either when used alone or in integrated disease control programs is minimized.
The natural origin of Serenade®Maxut gives a number of characteristics that are user-friendly, cultivated and environment-friendly, such as:
*Pesticides Require Prescription (Spraying License)

In addition, Serenade®Max is very flexible to use and can be combined with most fungicides (including sulfur and copper), insecticides, fertilizers and surfactants.
With the release of Serenade®Max, Bayer CropScience is adding “Natural” products to its portfolio, strengthening its proposals for complete and integrated crop solutions for the benefit of producers, consumers and the environment. [/read]
