MACHICROP B, is a natural source of nutrients for plants, since it is produced from 100% extract of seaweed of the species Ascophyllum nodosum and is enriched with 1.8% b/o (1.7% b/b) boron from boron salt. It is an essential product for the growth of plants because the readily assimilable boron it contains is an essential element for the development of new vegetation, flowering, formation and quality of fruit. It is very important for plants to obtain the required amount of boron during flowering and fruiting, as it helps in the development of the pollen tube and in the movement, metabolism and concentration of sugars. Boron deficiency usually occurs in organic matter-poor sandy soils, in very acidic or calcareous soils and the requirements of plants vary considerably. Symptoms of boron deficiency are mainly found in young, growing plant parts.
